Our principal contributor is Oliver Crocker, a filmmaker, podcaster, publisher, and leading writer and historian on classic British television. He is the author of successful and acclaimed books, including Witness Statements: Making The Bill Series 1-3 and Making The Bill 1988, as well as All Memories Great and Small. Oliver has also edited and published Oh, What a Lovely Memoir, the autobiography of Larry Dann, who made a huge contribution to the early years of The Bill as Sergeant Alec Peters, and is in high demand as a bestselling ghostwriter.

The Bill was an iconic ITV police series which ran for nearly 2500 episodes, from 1983 to 2010. Oliver and his team interview the actors who created legendary characters as well as those who worked behind the scenes, and pay tribute to those no longer with us.
